For all stainless steel units the pump of choice is a Gould 3196MTX-10H, 316 Stainless Steel, ANSI, Pump with a high volume impeller.
¤ Industrial quality pump, often used in oil refineries and water treatment.
¤ Higher capacity than Crane Deming or Labour pumps
¤ Can use packing gland seal and avoid necessity of very expensive mechanical seals used
with Labour pumps
¤ Vertiflo also has 316SS pumps which are a very good alternative at considerably less
cost than the Gould pump.
Mix systems are easily operated from a single location on the platform.
The eductor is sized specifically to pump flow capacity for maximum efficiency. Dry or liquid ingredients are easily added to the mix faster and with less lifting.
Skid is seal welded to minimize corrosion in hard to service areas. All mild steel areas are washed in lacquer thinner, acid primed, final primer applied and a 2-part polyurethane paint applied. Paint is applied with an airless system for maximum thickness without runs or overspray.
The electrical panel is all Square D brand components. It is pre-wired with a console with the Stop/Start control buttons on a 20' cord and mounted on the mixer console table. The starters and other components are in a panel that can be set on the floor off the mixer platform. The electrician wires from the main disconnect to the panel and from the panel to the pump, agitator and auger motors. The Auger motor controls are also included when augers are ordered with a mix system.
The dry hoppers are 10 Gauge 304 stainless steel with a 10"x10" slide gate. The hoppers are 8'x8' and independent of the augers. The augers are industrial quality with an 80 cubic foot per minute charge rate. Driven by Dodge gear reducers. As a rule they have much higher discharge capacity than our competitors.
